Can I pay with AfterPay or a payment plan?
Yes! AfterPay is available for online purchases as well as in person at markets and events. To use AfterPay in person, you will need to add your AfterPay Card to your Apple or Google wallet on your phone. You can then tap to pay with your phone as normal using my card reader. I can also do custom payment plans through invoicing and bank transfers. For custom payment plans, you will need to contact me to set this up and will only receive your items once they have been fully paid off.
How should I care for my items?
Many of the items I sell are handmade art pieces. Although I do my best to ensure my pieces are high quality and durable, they should still be handled with care and all jewellery and original artworks should ideally be kept away from moisture, aerosols, and extended periods in direct sunlight.
Painted clothing and other wearable art garments should be gently hand-washed in cool water to keep their lifespan as long as possible. Keep the painted sections flat when washing, drying, and storing to prevent paint from cracking along folded areas. They will likely hold up in the washing machine for a time, but this is something you must decide for yourself and attempt at your own risk. I do not offer refunds for items damaged due to rough handling or improper care.
What materials do you use to create your items?
I use a wide variety of both new and repurposed materials. I try to reuse old fabric and second hand items such as clothing and frames whenever I have them available to me. I always make sure that any second-hand items I am using are clean and safe. Items like my art prints, stickers, and laser cut jewellery are brand new and custom printed, and all earrings are mounted on brand new and hypoallergenic attachments.
I try to avoid animal products in order to keep my items vegan friendly, but I do use a lot of different art supplies and do not have an extensive knowledge of all of their ingredients. I do not buy any new animal based products for use in my art. On the rare occasion that I may use things like feathers, leather, or bones in my work, they are either natural death items that I or a friend/family member has found in nature, repurposed unwanted items, or things that have been gifted to me by others that would have otherwise ended up in land-fill.
Do you do commissions or custom orders?
Absolutely! You can get in touch with me any time to discuss custom orders or commissions by filling out the commission request form here. If your request fits with my schedule and skillset, we will discuss your idea further and come up with a plan to have it created. Commissions require a 50% non-refundable deposit, and must be paid in full before the final product is sent. Please note that I have other responsibilities outside of my art and these can sometimes affect the speed at which I can complete projects. Prices for custom orders vary greatly and will be impacted by turn-around times, size, and complexity.
